What is OORTech Crypto?

OORTech is a purpose-built, decentralized AI data infrastructure powered by OORT’s Layer-1 blockchain (Olympus Protocol). It enables contributors, node operators, enterprises, and developers to participate in a distributed ecosystem for data collection, processing, storage, and monetization. By combining global edge nodes, cloud resources, and a Proof of Honesty consensus model, the network delivers scalable, transparent, and fair data infrastructure for AI workloads.

Geographic Availability

OORTech does not list strict geographic restrictions. Deployment of edge devices may still depend on local regulations, hardware availability, internet reliability, and data-hosting rules. The network currently operates across 24+ countries, meaning most users should be able to participate as long as regional requirements for hardware, crypto rewards, and licensing are met.

Mining / Node Operation

Users can participate by running a Deimos edge node. This requires obtaining a license (via $OORT burn or payment) and contributing storage, compute, and bandwidth to the network. Active nodes earn $OORT rewards based on contributed resources, the current mining stage, and device license terms. OORT DataHub tasks (labeling, validation, processing) also provide earning opportunities, though this model is separate from node-based mining.

Optimizing OORTech Rewards

To maximize rewards:

• Deploy a Deimos device early in a mining stage (rewards reduce over time as stages progress).
• Maintain high uptime and stable connectivity.
• Complete DataHub tasks to expand earning sources.
• Keep device licenses current to avoid tier drops.
• Ensure reliable power and internet to prevent downtime.
• Upgrade hardware when new device generations launch (e.g., Deimos I → Deimos II).
• Diversify participation across node operation, data contribution, staking, and referrals.
• Monitor tokenomics updates, buybacks, and utility changes that may affect long-term reward value.

Using the OORTech Network

OORTech supports different user roles:

• Contributors & Node Operators: Run a Deimos node, contribute storage/compute, and earn rewards. Use the DataHub for additional data-related earning tasks.
• Developers & Enterprises: Build AI services and dApps using OORT APIs and SDKs. Use decentralized compute and storage for training, processing, and scaling AI models.
• Token Holders: Use $OORT for staking, payments, and governance participation.

Overall, the network functions as a decentralized, transparent AI data layer powered by community-operated infrastructure.

OORTech Governance

OORTech is governed by the OORT Foundation, a non-profit organization responsible for protocol development and ecosystem strategy. Governance follows a hybrid approach:

• On-chain governance: $OORT token holders can propose and vote on protocol upgrades, tokenomics, mining rules, and ecosystem incentives.
• Ecosystem governance: Managed by the Foundation and partners, covering research, partnerships, grants, and ecosystem support programs.
